Ruby Ibarra (Hip-Hop)
Ruby Ibarra is a rapper, producer, and spoken word artist from the Bay Area. She’s been rhyming for over 8 years and her music can best be described as reminscent of 90s hip hop with elements of new school, raw poetry. Her musical influences include Wu Tang Clan, Lauryn Hill, A Tribe Called Quest, and Big Pun. She’s been performing across the United States this past year and has been fortunate enough to be featured on noted web-based publications such as Worldstar Hip Hop, XXL Magazine, and Myx TV. She has opened up for Blu, Del the Funkee Homosapien, Bambu, among others. She is currently working on her first mixtape, slated for an early Spring 2012 release.
